Hey Ya'll!
The past couple of weeks have been amazing! I just love being a missionary so much!
I am loving my new area so much. Shadow Hills is definitely a wonderful place to be. It did take a little adjusting after being in YSA for 6 months. We'll just say sacrament meeting is a bit more loud than I am used too. I love it though I have missed being in a family unit.
We are teaching a super awesome man named Larry! He is the sweetest person ever. He has lost a couple of wives which is really sad, but need no fear because our Heavenly Father has a perfect plan, the Plan of Salvation! I had the opportunity to teach this plan to Larry this past week, and it was amazing! It was probably one of my most favorite lessons I have taught on my mission. I loved being able to share with him where we come from, why we are here, and where we are going when this life is over. I also loved sharing how families can be together forever and how he would be able to see his wives again! It just made my heart so happy to share this message with him. I am so grateful to have a Heavenly Father who loves us enough to allow us to be with the people we love the most. I love my family and I am so grateful for them. I don't know what I would ever do without them and I am even more grateful that I can be with them forever! Also super exciting for Larry he has accepted to be baptized on June 8th!
The Elders in our district had a baptism this past weekend and needed help with treats, so my companion (who went to culinary school before the mission) made the most epic CTR cake ever. I supervised while she made it. It was a great baptism to see Jose enter into the waters of baptism. The spirit was so strong as he made a promise with God!
I know this Church is true and I know that the Savior Lives and loves each and everyone of you. Never forget that! I love y'all. Have a blessed week.
-Love Sister Browning
