Miracles

Hey y'all! What another amazing couple of weeks it has been here in Midland! I love this area so much!

A while ago I had talked about a guy named Kade. He is less active and we were teaching him. We had lost contact with him about my second transfer here. We kept feeling like we needed to try him. For the past while we had gone to his house many times and texted him. We didn't really know why, but Heavenly Father just needed us to keep trying so we did. One night we drove to his house, and when we had finished praying we looked out and a man was standing next to the car. We got out of the car and he said who are you looking for. And he started naming off names and we were like Kade. He said oh he doesn't live here anymore. We were so bummed, but asked if he knew where Kade lived. He said here I have his number let me call him. He called him and was like there are some people who want to talk to you. He let us talk to him. Then after we got off the phone, he said here let me drive you to his house. What a miracle this was. Kade had to unexpectedly move and got a new number. He said he was happy we were able to find him and that he wanted to start meeting again! We are so excited about this. For a long time we didn't know why we were still trying by Kade. Now I know it is because our Heavenly Father loves him and wants him to come back to the fold.

This past week we also had Zone Conference! This is one of my favorite things to be apart of as a missionary. Sister Hales talked about failure. We all have stumbling blocks in this life, but those stumbling blocks can be turned to stepping stones. We can use them to grow from and learn from the experiences. Then she gave a quote from Lynn G. Robin's and changed going to growing. "Success isn't the absence of failure, but GROWING from failure to failure without any loss of enthusiasm."
We all have times in our life when we fail, but we can grow from that and move on with life with much enthusiasm. Why, because we are all children of God. He loves us and wants us to be successful in this life. Sometimes we fail, but only to become something far better than we thought we could ever be in the first place. I love you all and hope you have an awesome week! I know this Church is true, I love sharing the truth with everyone around me. The Gospel is so good, and I hope that everyone will take the opportunity to learn more of it.
