Famous People at Church

Hey y'all! What another beautiful week spent here in Midland Texas! This past week we spent a lot of time finding. My mission president encouraged my comp. Ion and I to spend as much time with college kids as we can. Our goal is to go to all events the colleges have. This last week we went to a tennis match. Where we met two girls who were so sweet. We loved being able to get to know them. We are super excited to be on campuses and meet lots of new people. 

This past week I reflected a lot on the love our Heavenly Father has for His children. With everyone that we meet whether they accept the message we share with or not, you are still able to feel that love for them. That love is something that is unexplainable. Our Heavenly Father has so much love for all of his children. I am so grateful for that opportunity to share that love.

This past week we had some really nice days. We were able to go out a walk around to our different appointments. It was so fun. I love the sunshine. And again I know God loves us because He always gives us things to makes us happy. We went and knocked a few doors at an apartment complex. We had no luck, but we will move forward with faith that the Lord is preparing someone for us to find and teach.

Cool story of the week! Sunday these people come to the front doors of our church building. They were locked so I opened it for them. There was a girl and two guys. The girl was so pretty and looked so familiar. Sister McInelly was like I know you, you're Whitney. Her husband nodded his head yes. Whitney Carson from Dancing with the Stars came to my branch on Sunday. And I gave her a program. By the time the meeting was over they were gone so quickly. It was pretty cool.

This next week I hit 8 months of serving my Savior Jesus Christ. These past 8 months have been a roller coaster of good days and bad days. I wouldn't trade these past 8 months for the world. I am so grateful for this opportunity I have been given to serve the Lord. I love this Gospel with all of my heart and I love sharing that with the people around me. I love you all hope you have an amazing week! :)

Transfers!

Hey y'all! 

What an amazing week it has been to be able to serve the Lord. Transfers were this past week and Sister McInelly and I will be staying here in the YSA. We are super excited. I can't wait to continue to help this area grow and progress. Each day we seek the Lord's will and we do our best to follow it. We continue to find every single day. Not every single moment as a missionary is easy, but every moment is worth it. I am grateful to be here. I love this area and I am grateful for the experiences I have been able to have here. I love you all so so much and am grateful for all of the love and support. I know that our Heavenly Father loves each and every single one of you don't ever forget that.
